Volunteer Opportunities
As needs within our community grow, there is an increased opportunity for the body of Christ to make a significant, sustainable difference in the lives of people. Now, more than ever, the Church needs to be at the center of its community.
Involvement in Love INC’s ministry is rewarding and life changing for volunteers as well as those receiving the help.
- Clearinghouse – Receive calls from people in need and complete intakes. Also, administrative support /data entry
- Furnished With Love – Man the warehouse, deliver and/or pick up furniture
- Budget Boot Camp – Budget coach or assistant coach (12-week commitment). Also, childcare provider
- Vocational Coach (as part of Budget Boot Camp)
- Board Member (meets once a month)
- Fundraising Committee
- Church Ministry Coordinator (for your church) – Serve as liaison between needs referred to Love INC and the appropriate church volunteer. Includes being a Love INC advocate
- Volunteer to provide a skill or service e.g., minor home repair and/or maintenance; auto repair; moving assistance; transportation assistance
Don’t have time to volunteer but would like to help in other ways? Here are some suggestions.
- Pray for the ministry and the people it serves
- Give financially to the ministry
- Donate “gently used” furniture i.e. mattresses, bedroom/living room furniture, tables & chairs, infant furniture
- Donate diapers
- Donate new or “gently used” bed linens i.e. pillows, mattress pads, sheet sets and comforters/quilts
