Do you have questions and concerns about M-O-N-E-Y? Most of us do. Budget Boot Camp is Love INC’s financial coaching program, offered to members of our community who need help and guidance with their finances and financial habits. Our program is unique in our community in that it is free of charge and provides personal one-on-one financial coaching! The 12-week self-help program provides participants with skills that will help them find their way out of financial difficulties, equip them to stay out of debt, and build a disciplined plan. Together,participants and their coaches work on paying bills and creating a budget. Childcare is provided.
There is also instruction on topics such as:
- Banking
- Payday loan danger
- Dealing with Creditors
- Recognizing and overcoming impulse spending
- Practical suggestions for living within your means
- Smart Food Shopping
Our coaches are experienced people who are passionate about helping people, non-judgmental and folks just like the rest of us. The program is offered in both Bellingham and Lynden.
The next Bellingham Budget Boot Camp will begin January 5, 2012. It is held Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 PM at Bellingham Covenant Church.
The next Lynden Budget Boot Camp will begin January 3, 2012. It is held Tuesday evenings from 7 to 9 PM at Faith Reformed Church.
