Our Mission
The mission of Love INC is “To mobilize local churches to transform lives and communities In the Name of Christ”. It is a movement of Christian Churches working together to show God’s love to the poor and needy.
Love INC networks local churches, church volunteers and community agencies to help people in need. At its fundamental level Love INC enables Christian volunteers, who are motivated by God’s love and inspired by Jesus’ example of selfless giving, to pool their time, talent and treasures to respond to needs in our community.
The church doorstep is a frequent destination for people in need. But most churches cannot fully meet the needs of every individual or family who asks them for help. Nor do they have the time to be sure the needs are legitimate. That’s where Love INC comes in. As people call Love INC’s clearinghouse for help, each request is carefully screened for legitimacy. Love INC then facilitates connections between those who seek help and those who can provide it. Referrals may be made to an appropriate resource which could include a church ministry, a church volunteer or a local agency. This approach enables churches, church ministries and local agencies to pool their resources and outreach services so those in need are not turned away.
